Awesome
Don't poo where it's steep is the best advice.

hola , para salir del parque es la misma via de la entrada?
Wow man. I must visit there someday. Reply to this comment if you ever do, Ted.
I always enjoy these video vacations to HiHunnyI'mHome National Park...
I'm scared
Absolutely stellar scenery and production values. Would appreciate captioned bird IDs with all bird images. Thank you!
I just visited Yosemite. The water, the cliffs and the steep edges are something that is best when you enjoy them from safe distance. But some stupid people ruin it for themselves, their family and also put rangers life at risk.
Black Bears

Currently here, I love history. Thank you
Bring back the Grizzly bear to california--wtf its on your flag!
I agree!
and it cost me 100000 dollars for the search and rescue, yeah its ok
They should just call all of the falls next to Horsetail Falls when combined together as "The Horsetails" in flood seasons.
If that rainfall gets any worse it’s gonna cut a channel down the center of the valley and make a HUGE CANYON……..
+1 for use iof the classic Led Zeppelin font. "I come from the land of the ice and snow..."

Is Crescent Ridge still hanging on El Cap?
I have been whitewater kayaking for over 30 years - you need to know the water and how to judge the dangers... stick to teh safe places
Video needs to be updated, as the 2023 winter devastated the Sierra sheep herds, including the Cathedral herd relocation featured in this nature note. Very sad.
It’s really nice 👍

I think as climate change causes the weather to become more erratic and unpredictable these heavy rain/snow events increase in their severity we will be seeing a lot more of these kinds of events taking place.

Surprising they did not mention the effects of climate change on the rocks lol
perfect timing. i was just wondering about the glaciers.
When I was a kid in the 70's I remember camping in tents in Yosemite, and Yellowstone. We hear bears sniffing around 1-2AM my parents told us just stay quiet they won't bother you. We wake up in the morning see all these bear footprints around the tents we didn't worry about being injured by a bear. I don't think I would sleep in a tent again today as they say ignorance was bliss. In those days everyone had tents we didn't even know anyone who owned an RV. Later in the 70's we had a small camper my parents slept in we still slept in the tents.
Similar story - I was in scouts, and ran into animals a few times. One time we were all tucked into our tents and a bear came by, left after some time. We had our food properly secured so no mess. We just kept quiet so the bear wouldn’t get spooked. Nothing happened, peaceful night.
❤

5:50 Except history has told us that there is a thing called induced demand, widening the road isn't going to solve traffic. All widening the road will do is cause more people to leave YARTS and take their car, worsening traffic.
Catching that on camera is fantastic, not a common thing. I mean prior to the advent of them they were just known by their evidence.
Yeah you have to take them for granite.
Praying God will keep these awesome beautiful places for us to continue to maintain and take care of for all who are privileged to visit.🙏🌳🌵⛰️🏞️🌄

A couple days after the Rim Fire started, I hiked to a peak in the Oakland/Berkeley hills where you see some of the Sierras on a clear day. I saw what I thought was a huge thunderhead over the Sierras, them I realized it was smoke from the Rim Fire. That night on the news they said the Pyro cumulus cloud got up to 57,000ft. These huge fires we are getting are unprecedented in modern times, with the worst year being the 4,000,000 acres lost in California in 2020. But researchers from the UC system discovered that an average of 4,000,000 acres used to burn in California every year, and once every 30 years or so, up to 11,800,000 acres would burn.
you have a greater chance of surviving a artillery shell landing near you than being caught in that shit.

People get into National Parks for free because they are deaf? WHAT? How does that make any sense at all? What is the correlation that lead to yet another government freebie for another now flourished class? Who else is on the free gravy train for National Parks? "Some pigs are more equal than other pigs". From the American work ethic to the American gimme ethic. 33 trillion dollars in debt and growing. Well done everyone.
We white men have done so much damage to indigenous peoples.
Grizzly bears CAN be reintroduced to to the Golden State from other areas, especially Yellowstone Park. We've already returned cheetahs to India and Tasmanian devils to mainland Australia after all.
Oh wow this happens here? I been there when it snowed 😁 i climed the side one of the frozen waterfalls
I'm not sure why its called the first, as in the mid-1970s there was an all-female fire crew stationed at Lake Eleanor.
